Wildlife
The wild life has definitely been distributed, the birds patterns are funky, and they seem a bit confused. We found two rattle snakes in two days. For the first time ever, I was actually afraid of walking around at night. I wonder where all the Mountain Lions are. A lot of creatures are moving into the Canyon for the only water around. Keep a eye out. It is nice to see the Deer in they yard.
Sand Bagging
El Toro building materials will be donating 3000 sand bags along with the sand. We have a number of volunteers that will be helping fill them on the 17th.
Thank you..
The fire departments and volunteers from around the country that saved the canyon.
Waste Management was kind enough to offer us a large container for debris removal at no charge. Thank you Waste Management.
Danny & April for providing us with volunteers to help clean up the debris from our loss.
Sil-Mod Propane for taking care of our propane during the fire storm.
OC Register for the great coverage that was provided during the fires. Except for the part where they took a picture of my garage with the car in front of it and said "Garage lost but BMW saved". The quote should have been "Garage lost but house was saved".
Everyone at the fire station who is helping in so many different ways. It was our children's first time back to the Canyon tonight and it was great for them (and us).
Everyone who is helping spread the word about the plant drive & fund raiser.

All my friends and family who are passing the word.
All the people who have shown so much support (both inside and outside the canyon).

We received a e-mail from a person in San Diego. Janie & Jack was nice enough to give them a 20% fire victim discount. They lost everything in their fires and we able to get their kids in some clothes.
Kevin for getting us a banner for the plant drive.
All the firefighters who continue to work two weeks after the fire (double shifts). These people are amazing.
Sheri McNeil for passing the word at work.
Lori Melville for getting the word out.
Owen & Kris for being great neighbors and being supportive.
Ben Melville and Wayne Collins for helping us build my gate so I can get our puppies home. We miss them so much. My invisible fence around the place was toast.

Darrin Ginsberg for helping me remove all the ash and cleanup, and letting us stay at his place for a couple of nights.
Barry Havlik for getting up all the resource information at the community center.
